Enterbrain, the Japanese publisher behind leading magazine Famitsu, has revealed new data which shows the Japanese games market experienced a significant expansion in 2006, following several years of decline.

They showed a list of the 100 top selling titles. Of the top-ten, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl topped the charts, and eight of the top ten games were DS games.
